"Thriving in Recovery" Campaign

Thank you to all who supported and attended the "Thriving in Recovery" Gala!  

 

The Council of Southeast Pennsylvania, Inc. is grateful for 40 years of providing the families and communities in this region with evidence–based programming in prevention, intervention and addiction recovery services that have annually impacted over 15,000 individuals. Our cutting-edge, integrated programs have received national recognition for the great strides they have made.

Tonight, we celebrate the advances over the past 40 years, while we
look to the future. The Council is launching the “Thriving in Recovery”
campaign. We are planning many year-long activities and educational
events to dispel myths associated with addiction as well as to present
options and hope for those seeking to access and sustain long-term
recovery. Presentations and activities will highlight 40 years of research,
clinical and practical implementation of tools for increasing resilience,
and providing key support in the fight against addiction.
Some of the topics included in the campaign are:

• Healing the Family
• Nutrition and Recovery
• Recovery and the Brain
• Spirituality as a Recovery Support
• Medication Assisted Recovery
• Restoring Physical Health and Wellbeing
• Providing Real Hope and Advocacy
We are asking you to share our vision for a brighter future free from
stigma, discrimination and barriers to healthy living. Thank you for
your support, we look forward to working together in the future!
